I am working in Hong Kong for a year teaching English as a Project Co-ordinator at Institute of Vocational Education (IVE), Kwun Tong campus, in East Kowloon. I want to share my experiences, especially the culture of Hong Kong and the companies I work for, while keeping an online diary for myself and family/friends to know what I’m doing here.

Hong Kong has long fascinated me since the Handover Ceremony (when I was only 6 years old), and because my Grandad Peter served his National Service time in the British army here in the early 1950s. My Auntie Janet also taught Kindergarten here in the early 1990s. I feel lucky to carry on this family trend now, in the early 2010s and we regularly talk about how much has changed here over the late 20th Century and early 21st.
